Unveil

Zodiac

Gives the Sun’s sign for a date from its longitude, not fixed date ranges: with a time, at that moment; without one, through the local day, with the minute it changes sign on a cusp day. Shows element, modality, rulers and dignities, the decan with its Chaldean face, the Egyptian term, and the Chinese sign from the lunar new year. The signs are tropical, as in Ptolemy (Tetrabiblos I.22).
