Isopsephy & Abjad
Totals Greek text by the Milesian alphabetic numerals, including the archaic letters for 6, 90 and 900, and Arabic text by abjad in the Mashriqi or Maghribi order, and writes numbers as Greek or abjad numerals. Greek totals are matched against Strong’s Greek dictionary (1890) and the Robinson–Pierpont Byzantine New Testament. Suetonius (Nero 39) quotes a lampoon in which Nero’s name and “killed his own mother” have the same value.
