Transits & Synastry
Compares a natal chart with the sky at another moment (transits) or with a second chart (synastry): a bi-wheel, aspects with orbs, applying or separating, and each person’s Sun, Moon and Ascendant in the other’s Whole Sign houses. An unknown birth time is cast for noon with a wider stated error. Ptolemy judges friendship by comparing the Sun, Moon, Ascendant and Lot of Fortune in two nativities (Tetrabiblos IV.7).
